1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CVEReports ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CVEReports. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Service

CVEReports is an AI-powered vulnerability intelligence platform that provides:

  • Autonomous research and analysis of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) and GitHub Security Advisories (GHSAs)
  • AI-generated comprehensive security reports including technical analysis, attack flow diagrams, and mitigation strategies
  • Aggregated vulnerability data sourced from NVD, GitHub, CISA KEV, ExploitDB, Shodan, and other public databases
  • Search and browsing of published vulnerability reports

The Service is provided for informational and research purposes. It is not a substitute for professional security assessment or consulting.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You can register using:

  • Email and password
  • Google OAuth (single sign-on)
  • GitHub OAuth (single sign-on)

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service.

4. AI-Generated Content

Important Disclaimer

Reports and analysis generated by CVEReports are produced by AI (Google Gemini models) and are not individually reviewed by humans. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated reports are for informational purposes only and should not be the sole basis for critical security decisions
  • You should verify information against official vendor advisories, NVD, and other authoritative sources before taking security actions
  • AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional security assessment, penetration testing, or consulting
  • The accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of AI-generated reports cannot be guaranteed
  • CVEReports is not liable for any decisions or actions taken based on AI-generated content

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Engage in automated scraping, crawling, or data extraction beyond normal browsing use
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
  • Use the Service to develop competing products or services
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or any other malicious code through the Service
  • Overload or attempt to overload our infrastructure with excessive requests

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these acceptable use provisions.

6. Intellectual Property

CVEReports Platform: The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by CVEReports and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works of the platform without our written permission.

Vulnerability Data: CVE identifiers and associated metadata from the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) are in the public domain. GitHub Security Advisory data is subject to GitHub's terms of use.

AI-Generated Reports: Reports generated by our AI system are provided for your personal and internal use. You may reference and share individual reports with attribution to CVEReports. You may not systematically reproduce, redistribute, or commercially resell bulk collections of our reports.

7. User Content

If you submit content to the Service (such as feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions), you grant CVEReports a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and incorporate such content to improve the Service.

You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

8. Third-Party Links & Data

The Service contains links to and data from third-party sources including NVD, GitHub, CISA, ExploitDB, Shodan, and other security databases. These links and data are provided for convenience and reference.

CVEReports does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
  • AI-generated reports will be accurate, complete, or current
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
  • Any errors or defects in the Service will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CVEREPORTS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any decisions or actions taken based on AI-generated reports or content
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any third-party content or conduct on the Service

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which damages are sought, including negligence.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CVEReports, its operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any content you submit or transmit through the Service

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the Service settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
